ATEST: National Call on U.S. Anti-Trafficking Legislation, June 18th

by

Does your organization work on issues related to modern-day slavery and human trafficking? Then please join the Alliance to End Slavery & Trafficking (ATEST) for an important update on the reauthorization of the Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPA). The legislation is the cornerstone of all federal anti-trafficking efforts, but expired last September after it failed to secure bipartisan renewal. During this call, learn more about its current status and opportunities to take action.

Date: Monday, June 18th
Time: 2 p.m. Eastern
RSVP: Aryan Bocquet, abocquet@humanityunited.org

Also, please save the date! ATEST will be holding its third in a series of national calls on June 28th on federal business transparency legislation modeled after the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act. Additional details on this call are forthcoming.

Aryan Bocquet is Manager of ATEST and based in Humanity United's Washington, D.C. office. Learn more about ATEST at http://www.endslaveryandtrafficking.org.
